About TPU
What is TPU?
TPU prints rubber-soft parts on a regular FDM printer. We stock it at Shore 95A — the same hardness as a skateboard wheel — which is firm enough to hold geometry but yields under thumb-press and rebounds without permanent deformation. Designs need to respect the material: flexible filaments don't tolerate sharp internal corners, retraction-heavy travel moves, or thin walls under 1.6 mm.

Questions buyers ask
How flexible is your TPU?
Shore 95A — firmer than a pencil eraser, softer than a hard rubber wheel. It bends, stretches and rebounds, but isn't silicone-soft. We can source 60D for stiffer flex on request.
Will TPU degrade in sunlight?
Industrial TPU is one of the most UV-stable thermoplastics we print. Outdoor use is fine.
Can I 3D print a watch strap in TPU?
Yes — watch straps and bands are one of the most common TPU jobs we run.
